Latham, NY – The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York announced it has elected new members to its Board of Directors.

Latham, NY – Officials at BlueShield of Northeastern New York gifted brand new vehicle – a 2009 Honda Odyssey – to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York to help with pick-ups and deliveries of much-needed food items to food pantries and service organizations.  As well, employees of BlueShield held a food drive to fill the van with nonperishable food items.

ALBANY, NY – With more than 12 million children in the United States living in food insecure households and a growing number of children in upstate New York going hungry every day, Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. (CDPHP) announces a $5,000 contribution to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York’s BackPack Program. As part of its eighth annual holiday appeal, CDPHP is reaching out to the business community to encourage organizations to join the fight to end childhood hunger and has pledged to double its current donation to $10,000 by matching contributions from area organizations.

Latham, NY – The Pampered Chef has made a donation of $15,686.68 to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York from proceeds raised through its Round-Up from the Heart campaign.

Latham, NY – The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York announced it has received a $2,500 grant from The Charles R. Wood Foundation to increase the donation and distribution of produce and perishable food in and around Warren County.
